Question: Bath throw rugs with crumbled backing - what to exercise with them?

I have some very good bathroom rugs - the simply problem is the safe not-slip backing which is crumbling. Does anyone know if there's a way to rejuvenate these? Can the backing exist removed in some manner and a new one sprayed on? I also thought mayhap I could sew fabric on the dorsum but don't know how much trouble that would exist.

I hate to throw these away as the top (rug) side looks like new. Any assist would be profoundly appreciated!!

Here is how to repair those rugs. The white backing on the rug is a latex rubber. All you need is a jug of liquid latex and a paint brush.

I must have 4 or 5 bathroom rugs in this condition, and would never consider throwing them out, considering the carpeting pile is still is fantabulous condition. Just remember when washing them, use cold water, then air dry!
