Very grateful that there is someone in MKE area that still repairs luggage. My suitcase, which was only a year old, had a wheel that was totally destroyed by the airline. Repair was completed in a timely manner and the suitcase looks like new, again. Very pleased and would recommend!

The customer service and work here is spectacular! I walked in with a wonky zipper on my hard shell suitcase and it was fixed right away. I was SO very happy with this service and will definitely go back when/if the time should come. I was also advised that the fix might hold for a week, month, years or it may never break again; I appreciated the honestly. I was also given the cost of what it would be to repair should the zipper go all crazy on me again. We all know how our bags get tossed around on the planes 🙂

My Hartmann carry-on bag of 25 years and lots of sentimental value was damaged on a recent trip by the airport baggage handlers. Traveling Bags was able to replace the broken handle with a stronger version that nearly matches the color of our luggage. Plus they did it in 1/2 of the time promised. Very impressed!

My personalized and expensive soft-side golf travel bag lost a wheel in flight on my way to Kohler. I contact Traveling Bags and he said he could fix it and had the part in stock. He did an amazing job, and because I had to drive 70 miles each way, he replaced both wheel while I wait. The bag is like new and cost me less than the price of the cheapest soft-side I have seen on the market. It took 1/2 hour from the time I gave him the bag to the time I left. I highly recommend them!

Burt is the Best! I called him bc another luggage repair shop referred him. What a GEM Burt is. He texted me, then we FaceTimed to see all the pieces I needed for new wheels on my very, very old carry-on bags. I would have loved to have gone to his shop but I'm 2 hours away. He shipped my wheels promptly. I was so excited when I opened the box. He took some time with me bc I had 3 different styles of TravelPro Crew series. Each style had a different type of axle but Burt had the parts. Super reasonable price. Super nice guy. I have larger suitcases. If they got damaged I would drive the 2 hours to get those bags fixed! He gave me some great helpful hints too. Just like the other luggage repair shop, I would recommend Traveling Bags Luggage & Repair FOR SURE!

Love this place. I took a piece of Travelpro luggage to have a handle repaired as part of a warranty. The owner knew I had driven an hour to get to him and took the time to repair my handle immediately, so I wouldn't have to travel back and forth again. The repair was done beautifully.

This is the first time I have ever done a Google Review, solely due to the quality of this place. First off, they were perhaps the only business in the greater Milwaukee area willing to fix the zipper on my x-country ski boots. And they did it in time for me to get my boots back (quick turn-around) for an upcoming ski race. Secondly, when picking up my boots I inadvertently locked my keys in my vehicle. The owner (?) called the local police and helped me arrange for a local officer to come out and do a "lock out". I can't say enough good things about Traveling Bags and will be going to them for any service they provide in the future. Great business, well worth supporting.

Pilot friendly! Needed a couple seems sewed up near the zippers on my Luggage Works Stealth. Since I had a trip coming up before the repairs could be done they gave me a similar black loaner bag at no charge to use while they repaired my case. Repairs were great and reasonably priced.

Outstanding repair of a Baggallini bag zipper!! The new zipper installed matched the other hardware and the original zipper pull and nylon zipper stop were reattached. Even the contrast color stitching on the inside was as per original. Excellent work. I will be returning with other repairs for them.

Just before Christmas we needed a 20+ year old guitar case to be refurbished as part of a gift with a restored ESP guitar. The case was in bad shape. Bart helped us find the hardware we needed to redo the case Which wasn't easy since the case wasn't made any more. Just went to drop my Travelpro crew bag off for a handle repair - it's at least 11 years old and lost a screw on my flight this week. He asked if I had a few minutes to wait, fixed it right away and even added a zipper where the zipper pull had fallen off. Super friendly and helpful, and very reasonably priced. I hoped by dropping it off today, I'd have it back for Thanksgiving travel, but I drove home with it repaired and in my trunk! Great niche business with fantastic service.

Ricardo luggage wrecked by the airline luggage employees. Burt couldn't repair it due to how badly it was broken but he contacted Ricardo for us and was able to get them to send us a replacement bag for little to no cost. Have not visited their new location yet. But have used them a few times in the past for repairs to a couple of older TravelPro bags with broken wheel housings. They located hard-to-find parts and were quick to fix my bags. They also did some leather repairs to my wife's handbag. Looks good as new.

My hard-shell luggage had one of its wheels pushed in so that it would not roll properly. I suspect that the smooth finish allowed it to slide off a stack of bags and land on the wheel. Traveling Bags made an excellent repair by popping out the wheel and adding fiberglass to reinforce that corner. The repair saved my $400 piece of luggage. I am very happy with their work.

I've had two things repaired here-they did a great job on both! They replaced leather straps on my favorite plaid bag, even recreating stylist stitching that was on the original strap. I didn't expect they would be able to do that but they did and it looks great!

I was a little hesitant after reading some not so great reviews, but other places had worse reviews. I went ahead and brought in two bags. I was very pleasantly surprised. The repairs were excellent, and the bags were ready sooner than expected. Peggy was very nice. Yes, the place is crowded, and it looks disorganized, but this did not effect the repair. I would definitely use this business again.
